California Escrow Association Conference Recap 2019

October 31, 2019 Event

First Corporate Solutions (FCS) is proud to have exhibited once again at the 64th annual California Escrow Association Conference hosted at the Hilton Costa Mesa on October 10-12.

The conference featured the installation of incoming President Diane Boudreau-Tschetter and the new 2020 officers, numerous break out sessions and education seminars, and a moving rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. It also featured a lively legislative update from California Advocates’ Mike Belote that highlighted various legislative items affecting the escrow industry, like the California Consumer Privacy Act set to take effect January 1, 2020.

As usual, the educational sessions were informative and led by highly connected and informed speakers who shared their real time insights from topics ranging from economic forecasts to potential effects of independent contractor legislation.

FCS Chairman David Silverburg attended the event with FCS President/CEO Samuel Hon. Joining them from FCS were Escrow Compliance Manager Pamela Putnam, a 30+ year industry veteran and FCS cornerstone, and Vice President of Strategic Relations Chris Cerruti. FCS offers products and services that support Bulk Sale Escrow Officers, including UCC search packages, UCC filing, title search and UCC recording and publishing.

As a long-time partner to California’s Bulk Sale Escrow Officers, we always look forward to supporting them and the CEA Conference. It’s a great opportunity to learn key industry news, reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
