Effective May 28^th after being signed by the governor, Louisiana House Bill 621 (Act 560) updated corporate filing regulations, including a specification that applicants must use a name distinguishable upon the records of the Secretary of State unless meeting present law exemptions.  Partnership annual report filing fees were also increased from $25 to $30.
