As of today, neither state legislatures in Washington or Alaska have approved state operating budgets. If this situation continues unresolved, the Department of Natural Resources in Alaska and the Department of Licensing in Washington may not be able to accept new UCC filings starting July 1 (that goes for all types of filings, whether UCC-1s or amendments of any kind, including terminations and continuations).
