ORIGINAL POST: October 11, 2022
On September 8, 2022, Suffolk County, NY was victim to a cyberattack. The County promptly hired multiple cybersecurity firms to conduct a thorough security audit to protect employees and residents as well as restore online services. The cyber assessment is still ongoing.

Until their online services are fully restored, walk ins are allowed for searching purposes only and filings may be available as early as next week.

In the meantime, you can continue to submit Suffolk County UCC filings through FICOSO Online. We will hold those orders and submit when the county is back up and accepting filings again.

The County has not released any information about submission dates or how they are currently processing filings but as soon as we have more information, we will post an update.

As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your CSS if you have any questions.
