New York Department of State Closed for System Maintenance 12/31

We have been recently informed that New York Department of State, Division of Corporations, State Records & UCC will be doing system maintenance starting Thursday, December 21, 2020 at 3:30 EST through Monday, January 4, 2021 at 12PM EST. Regional Stay At Home Orders Rolling Out Across California

On December 3, 2020, the California Department of Public Health issued a new Regional Stay At Home Order in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

California Secretary of State’s Office Suspends Services Through End of Year

CA SOS Closes Early due to Excessive Heat Warnings

The California Secretary of State will be closing the Sacramento lobby at 3 p.m. starting Monday, August 17, until Wednesday, August 19, due to multiple Excessive Heat Warnings and the need to reduce energy demand during peak hours. Daily pick up will be between 2:00 - 2:30 p.m.

California Update – Assembly Bill 85 Exempts Payment of Minimum Annual Franchise Tax Payment

California Assembly Bill 85 was signed by the governor and, effective June 29, exempts a limited partnership (LP), limited liability company (LLC) and limited liability partnership (LLP) that files, registers or organizes to do business in California from paying the annual minimum franchise tax of $800 in its first taxable year for tax years beginning January 1, 2020 and before January 1, 2024.
