Delaware To Increase UCC XML Fee, Maximum Tax For Corporations Increased

There are two items to report out of the Secretary of State of Delaware. First, the fee for a UCC XML filing is increasing from $30 to $50 effective 8/1/2017. The current fee options for UCC XML filings are below, taken from the Delaware SOS site. Reminder: Due June 1, 2017 – Delaware LLC/LP Franchise Tax Payment

Every June 1st all Delaware LLC/LP’s registered to do business are required to pay their $300 annual Franchise Taxes with the Secretary of State’s office for the 2016 calendar year. Failure to make this payment by the end of business June 1 will result in a $200 penalty the very next day as well as interest accruing at 1.5% monthly until payment is made. California Secretary of State UCC Connect Online Services Will Be Offline July 1st to July 5th

The Secretary of State’s UCC Connect online services will not be available beginning Friday, July 1st at 12:00 a.m. PST until Tuesday, July 5th at 8:00 a.m. PST, as they perform upgrade activities to their system. Paper Filings No Longer Accepted By North Dakota Secretary Of State

The North Dakota Secretary of State has announced that it will launch a new Central Indexing System (CIS) on March 1,2016. The SOS and county filing offices will require all search requests and filing submissions to be completed online and no paper filings or search requests will be accepted. East Coast Jurisdiction Closures Due to Winter Storm Jonas
