The International Factoring Association held its annual conference last week at The Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, and First Corporate Solutions was proud to attend once again with friends, partners, familiar faces and new acquaintances.

The International Factoring Association conference continues to be the leader in providing educational and networking opportunities to the factoring community and this year’s event delivered again. Factors and asset-based lenders from across the globe convened to network, exchange industry news, make deals and expand relationships.

Blockchain. If there is one word to encapsulate the underlying theme of the meetings, that is it. The technology was discussed in depth, its future (and present) in lending envisioned and explained. It will be interesting to examine its impact over the course of the coming year when we reconvene in San Diego next spring.
